Our Story

Meet the Makers

We are Mick Simmering (1993) and Juliëtte Mohamed (1993), founders of Noord see Lights. Our shared passion for design and circular thinking began during our Architecture studies at Delft University of Technology. What started as a mutual exploration of the power of sustainable design evolved into a mission: to create lighting that is both functional and personal.

All our lamps are sustainably produced and packaged in Amsterdam Noord. Each lamp is made exclusively on demand, with a printing time of approximately 8 hours. The innovative 3D printing process may result in slight variations in texture and color, giving each lamp its own personal and unique character.
