Light for the Neighborhood at De Gele Pomp

Today, we had the chance to do something truly special. We installed several of our lamps at one of the most vibrant places in Amsterdam-Noord: De Gele Pomp, the very first creative gas station in the Netherlands.

A place where creativity and community joy come together — and one we were proud to contribute to. Because light has the power to transform a space, bring ideas to life, and inspire people to create, play, and connect.

Behind De Gele Pomp is the colorful mind of Hotmamahot — a creative collective from Amsterdam with a rich palette of talents and disciplines. Their mission? To engage and enrich the neighborhood. And they do so with a packed program: creative workshops for kids on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, and surprising activities for adults like the Tactical Forest Games Club, the Do It Yourself Café, or an intimate film night.

Our lamps are now part of this vibrant space. The lamps we donated were designed by us and, of course, made locally with care. We hope they will enrich the space where children and people of all ages can unleash their creativity through crafts, sports, or simply enjoying a cozy evening together.

At Noord See Lights, we believe in inspiring and expressing ourselves. And De Gele Pomp is the perfect example: a creative incubator where ideas blossom and people come together. That's why we're lovingly donating some of our lamps to this unique clubhouse. Not just to make it more beautiful, but to enhance the atmosphere where dreams take shape.
