Light for the Neighborhood at De Gele Pomp

Today, we had the chance to do something truly special. We installed several of our lamps at one of the most vibrant places in Amsterdam-Noord: De Gele Pomp, the very first creative gas station in the Netherlands.

A place where creativity and community joy come together — and one we were proud to contribute to. Because light has the power to transform a space, bring ideas to life, and inspire people to create, play, and connect.

Behind De Gele Pomp is the colorful mind of Hotmamahot — a creative collective from Amsterdam with a rich palette of talents and disciplines. Their mission? To engage and enrich the neighborhood. And they do so with a packed program: creative workshops for kids on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, and surprising activities for adults like the Tactical Forest Games Club, the Do It Yourself Café, or an intimate film night.

Onze lampen zijn nu onderdeel van deze bruisende plek. De lampen die we hebben gedoneerd zijn door ons ontworpen en natuurlijk met zorg en lokaal door ons gemaakt We hopen dat ze de ruimte verrijken waar kinderen en mensen van alle leeftijden hun creativiteit tot leven laten komen door te knutselen, te sporten of gewoon gezellig s ’avonds samenkomen.

Bij Noord see Lights geloven we in het inspireren én het uiten van je expressie. En De Gele Pomp is daar het perfecte voorbeeld van: een creatieve broedplaats waar ideeën opbloeien en mensen samenkomen. Daarom geven we met liefde een aantal van onze lampen aan dit bijzondere clubhuis. Niet alleen om het mooier te maken, maar om de sfeer te versterken waarin dromen vorm krijgen.
