Dutch Design Week 2025

Dutch Design Week 2025

In just a few weeks it’s happening! From October 18 to 26 we will be joining a collective of sustainable entrepreneurs at Dutch Design Week 2025 in Eindhoven, at Sectie C, under the banner Joyful Rebellion.

Four Dutch design studios, Noord see Lights, Dooie Mus, Underbug and MinneWorks, are joining forces to show that things can be done differently. Our products invite a more conscious approach to possessions – in both material use and meaning.

We’re generating more waste than ever.

Our consumption-driven society gives companies the freedom to produce faster and cheaper, at a cost we can no longer ignore.

Joyful Rebellion is our response: Products that invite reflection, made with care, both in what they’re made from, and what they stand for.

Material

We work exclusively with natural and/or repurposed waste materials, resources that rarely get a chance in conventional production.

Our designs are both functional and poetic. Think: plant supports made from discarded wool, clay shelters for insects, a lamp you can completely design yourself, or the cheeky concept of "making someone happy with a dead sparrow."

The Studios

Our consumer society gives companies free rein to produce faster and cheaper, with consequences we can no longer ignore. Joyful Rebellion is our answer to this trend: our products invite a more conscious relationship with the things we own, in both material and meaning. Huh. So it can be done differently.

Noord see Light

Fully customizable lighting made from bio-based, sustainable materials. Where creativity, individuality, and conscious choices come together.

Dooie Mus

The last gift you’ll ever need. A protest against overconsumption, and a playful nod to the Dutch saying that inspired its name.

MinneWorks

1.5 million kilos of wool are burned in the Netherlands every year. DieKees rescues it, and turns it into biodegradable growing pots.

Underbug

For the overlooked and underrated: the tiny insects we rarely think about, yet who quietly keep our planet running.

Let yourself be surprised. Join our Joyful Rebellion. Read about us on the official Dutch Design Week 2025 page
